I began to decorate the dining room for the my party this weekend, as part of A Fanciful Twist's Halloween Party.
I still have to set the table and so, some of this stuff will be shifted around again, but for now it's just lovely. I may leave it like this all year long.
Gorgeous!! I need to do that too. Yikes. Best get a move on.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Danni, I love it!
ReplyDeleteOk...I absolutely love the harlequin and columbine portraits..where did you get them????????
ReplyDeleteI love the jar labels- way cool. I did something like that with jars of babyheads in colored water one year- how fun. Mmm eyeballs.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely leave this all year long on display:):):)
ReplyDeleteTotally leave it up all year! =D It will be awesome!
ReplyDeleteKnowing I've got a wonderfully Witchy blog friend in you cheers me up too. ^-^ As soon as I can get a hold of an owl, I'll send you some tea. ^-^
It's been so wonderful finding all the connections I have via blogger, especially since the Pagan community around where I live isn't exactly thriving or terribly friendly to newcomers...
You & all the others remind me that I'm never really alone, and that means so much to me! Y'all are awesome! ^-^
XOXO
Simple and complete - I love it - Nicely done! Oh, and what time should I be there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog and gorgeous pictures!! I will visit often.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you about leaving it up all year. I just love my Hallowoooooonie decos. Makes me smile every time I walk by an area that is decorated. Halloween memories for me are the bestest and now I can see the kiddos doing the same thing. Happy, happy, happy. The Olde Bagg
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic! I love the eyeballs in the jar!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a halloweeny inspiration! I love the penants (I think that's how you spell it). Did You make them? I love how even the color of your wall brings everything together. ;)
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I love the red background. It ties in perfect with whimsy :)
ReplyDeleteLuckily, the accent wall in our dining room is a feature of our apartment, I didn't even have to paint it! ;) I think you've all convinced me to leave it up all year, not that I needed much of a nudge... haha.
ReplyDeleteThe Harlequin children were a great thrift store that I snagged while we were visiting NJ... it was $10 for the set! We painted the frames black (they were a dirty dingy brown) and added plexiglass as they were open to the elements. I love them!
As for the pennant, it was made for me in a Halloween swap I did over on Craftster. When I saw it, I was so giddy with excitement I couldn't contain myself!
You may know this, but because I love Harlequins I looked this up a while ago and figure you would get a kick our of the info.
ReplyDeleteSo here's the link to find out what the significance of a male and female "harlequin" is-
