Gratitude*Sunday

I'm joining Taryn at Wooly Moss Roots and several other lovely bloggers in honoring the things for which we've been grateful for throughout the week. A quiet, weekly practice of appreciation and positivity. A time to breath and reflect. A small step towards a more simplistic and appreciative outlook.

If you would like to join us, just click the image at the bottom of this post.

New table runner with fabric picked out by the husband and button flowers made by me. The metal flowers were gifts from the hubs.
This Week I am Grateful For:
* A change in my work schedule which affords me a little more time in the mornings.
* A Halloween evening spent with friends.
* Starting on my Christmas crafting.
* Making the decision to go gluten & grain free in order to try to heal my guts and all their issues.
* Having a wonderfully supportive spouse who is willing to make the same lifestyle changes as I do so I'm not going it alone.
* Talking about and making plans for the future.
* All the sugar peas that are coming out of the garden right now, thanks to the chilly weather!
* Continuing to add and change things around the house that makes it more "us". Everything we do around here, no matter how big or small, makes me joyous and more and more in love with our home.
* Learning to embroider.

  1. it makes major changes less daunting when you have a partner to go along with! good luck with the gluten and grain free diet.

  2. having the support of your husband is huge....congrats. SM and I are beginning some lifestyle changes as well and are going to go on a trip a month to somewhere sans kids. We're gonna be grown ups again....and find our muchness together.
    You have paired down your ways of social media......ing, and I have gone back to two blogs. Changed up Ye Olde Crones to a QandA/discussion blog. I hope it will bring answers to questions we all have but "who to ask". Subjects we want to resolve but don't know how. I'm looking forward to introducing topics and let's us have at it, in a civilized way or I will have to play "off with their heads" n'cest pas?
    Love your gratefulness posts. xoxo Oma Linda

  3. I'd love to hear how it goes with the gluten free thing. I tried it once for 3 months hoping it would put an end or at least bring some relief to my chronic migraines, but it didn't help at all. Lately I heard that you have to go at least 6 months to see a change so I'm thinking of trying again. It is just so overwhelming to learn what you can and can't eat, etc. Anyway, I love your gratitude sunday posts. have a wonderful week!
