Review and Giveaway: Centuries of June

Centuries of June by Keith Donohue

A dark comedy that takes place in a bathroom, Centuries of June is a stylish and captivating novel. It is written in multiple styles with the stories being told from the viewpoints of several different women. Their stories involve heartache, struggle, murder, love and redemption and though they are each different, they have a common ground point; the mysterious narrator who is laying on the bathroom floor with a hole in his skull, Jack.

Centuries of June is a coming together of several genres and of mythologies, folk tales and urban legends told and heard throughout America at different times. It is an unusual and surreal book, filled to the brim with vivid characters, dreamy sequences, fantasy, flappers and a dash of silliness for good measure. Part murder mystery, part fantasy and a bit twisted, this novel kept me intrigued through the end.

  13. Why do I feel like this is Deja Vu? Is Keith in the midst of writing another novel(or having it edited by his publisher) about migrating Scot's who went to the Panama Canal?
I would love to enter this giveaway.
