On the Ninth Day of Halloween...

We went apple picking at Sky Top Orchards, on top of a mountain, in North Carolina. It was extremely sunny and Joe led me around by the hand a few times so I could close my eyes at points when we couldn't stick well enough to the shade. It was worth the bit of annoyance for the fresh air, delicious apples, cider and time in the mountains. I truly love the mountains.

Sharing a pear-apple. Can you tell this was the 3rd attempt?

Of course, I found a pumpkin house.

I'll be making the normal apples into tasty goodies and enjoying the pear-apples all on their own.

  2. Yay for you and your darling Joe. I love apple time in the mountains as well. I'll miss it this year but the kiddos are scheduled to go Tuesday on a field trip at school, Mom is going as well and will bring back yummy crisp apples. Yay.
You in the pumpkin house is an adorable vision. Gives me an idea, oh no. The Olde Bagg
