While skimming the newest issue of Weird NJ Wednesday night, I noticed a small advertisement for the New Jersey Zombie walk which was being held in Asbury Park. It just so happened to be a few short days away! I told my lovely and we woke up this morning, donned some old clothes, packed a small baggie with white and black cream paint and snatched the faithful Bottle 'O' Blood and headed to the coast. Once there, we slathered ourselves in paint and I gave myself a healthy dowsing of blood and joined the rest of the undead horde in front of the carousel building.
When the clock tolled 5 o'clock in the evening, the horde of 1,400+ zombies descended upon the quiet seaside town...
Stumbling around the boardwalk together moaning 'braaaaaainsssss....' for a few hours? That's zombie love.
That looks like so much fun! I love the Where's Waldo zombie.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would SO be there! What else could be better on a cool October day than becoming a zombie for a few hours! Thanks for the pics - I'll likely have nightmares, because zombies actually scare the crap out of me - but you've still made me smile!
